Не с первого раза я поняла, что коллекция отображает природный цикл. Коллекция начинается с поздней весны. Нежные, яркие и прекрасные цветы на очаровательных жакетах,юбках и блузах. Эта часть показа беззаботна как само лето.

Но уже близится осень. Цвета всё ещё пытаются быть яркими, но оттенки становятся всё холоднее, а затем почти исчезают.

Всё становится зыбким, как кружево. Наступает осень в серых и зеленовато-ржавых оттенках.

А для холодов дизайнер предлагает нам простые, но потрясающе скроенные шубы (а шуба-кeйп просто роскошь).

Но последний выход завершает цикл и напоминает нам, что весна уже почти пришла

Симпатично, но никак. Проходная коллекция дизайнера второго разряда.

Amaya соблюла своеобразный dress-code этого сезона: обязательное красное пальто и тренд на гипертрофирофанные женские формы и спущенно-покатые плечи.

Всё остальное мы видели и не раз. И скульптурные вставки эти.

И многослойные драпировки.

Уважаемая Amaya отстаёт ровно на год от главных домов моды.

И только-только в конце забрезжил свет в лице этого прекрасного платья, но и здесь оказалось, что такая же идея была воплощена на той же неделе моды в Париже, только гораздо тоньше и лучше.

When I saw this photo from Chanel SS 10 show, i've became interested who are these pretties. And I found out that this Irena Lazareanu, Kemp Muhl and Sean Lennon

And in spite of that Irena is stunning, this post is devoted only to couple of fashionsta #2 - Sean and Kemp. Unlike previous pair they have their own very special way of being (including style). They are those, whom I'd call bohema (actually they are bohema)

Sean is a son of John Lennon and he's very alike of father.

Also this couple already made a statement, taking the vice-versa version of famous photo of Yoko and John.

And then I began searching more photos of them and I was charmed by them! They look to be just made for each other. They're so exquisite, beautiful, ingenuous, ironical, stylish and intelligent. They always dressed up very interesting and intellectually, if u know what I mean.

There are two couples, whom I considered to be very stylish and fashionable. And of course they are just made for each other. The first one - Kanye West and Amber Rose. Their style is very edgy, rocking, sexy and sometimes a bit freaky. But always flawless. I really like them and how they look together and separate. P.S.Amber is sooooo sexy, o my gosh)))

When you see her, there's only one thing comes to ur mind, isnt it?)))) and this is kinda nasty thought))

Moscow Fashion Week has come to its end. As some of u could remember, i'm working there as a staff, so i've a chance to see every catwalks. here's a couple of pics of our team in working process)))

So, what I can say. From aaaall the shows i like two. only two! It speaks for itself, isn't it? One thing soothes me - some of our cool designers don't take part in this week, one more designer Terehov is out of the schedule. But I'm happy to share with u a photos and my impression about the best catwalk, performed by Kirill Gassiline.

Below will be a lot of text. Those of you, who're very impatient could scroll down just to the photos. But I can't don't give personal opinion =)

All his catwalks are not just a showing of new garments, but the story with the concept and background.
This show was called "The ghosts". So it's obvious what exactly was an inspiration for Kirill) Here's a quote from press-release, i wouldn't say better: "Something very subtle and delicate.. Fall silent and listen attentively. And then you can hear the deliberate story about beyond world of ghosts: enigmatic and as ancient as the mankind itself.... subtle shadows are dancing among the trees, scaring and charming ...these are lost souls, that are wondering and searching for their past lifes.. and not finding it."

It was flawless from the very beginning. At first there was a burst of the light - projectors at the background were turned on. Then a music began, which perfectly fits the atmosphere. and then models began to walk. I would like to mention - it's one of the rare shows here in Moscow, where i like HOW models walk on the runway. their appearing was synchronized and the scheme of the walking was structured beautiful.

And about the collection. This is what I call an intelligent style. Exquisite colorway grey hues, bordo flashes, deep black and night-sky blue tincture the ghost's world.. Gloomy range of colors is complicated by textures' contrast and multi-layering. The garments perfectly reflected the Kirill's style but without any hint of androginy. It was thought-out, completed, feminine collection. The cut was laconic, but not minimalistic. Looks were volumed but not overloaded. . All the show i was like stunned and charmed by the catwalk.

But due to lightning all photos are not of the best quality, and they really do not convey all the textures's chic and the color's beauty....sorry, kittens)

BUT. It wouldn't be unfair, if i don't say that there was an obvious likeness with my beloved Dries Van Noten..

but i will not accuse Kirill. He has his own style for sure. And there is always a place for borrowing in world's reative proccess. At least he has chosen a good example to follow =)

An act of terror in Moscow subway

I know that it isn't a usual post, which u probably expected to see. And this is not something, what people usually write about in their about-fashion blogs. but I can't keep silence. I want u to know that....
today, 29 March, in the morning rush-hour two subway stations were attacked by female suicide bombers. Now it's already comitted that 38 people died and about 70 wounded.
Everyone is scared. But most prefer not to think about it. And of course don't go by subway. Total insecurity.
Those who did it and (this is most important) those who are in charge for it are damn motherfuckers.. i even don't have enough words... Moreover on Sunday there was a religious holiday and this is holy week for us. On Sunday is Easter.
rest in piece those who died. and God bless those who're still fighting for life. Let's pray for them. And for that it won't happen again. Tomorrow will go to the church.

If describe the collection in few words - it's the perfect wardrobe for Lolita. The collection for a young beautiful girls, who know what they worth.

Sheer nude dresses ambroidered with crystalls are awesome. more than awesome. fabulous. so sexy and maidenly both. The braids completed the models' look

Particulary, the prints are naive and strikig at the same time at the same time. .

When I saw this pretty fine cover with Jen and Gerry, I decide to write a post about her.

You know, I really like her! She's strong, whole-hearted woman, who's beauty just blossoms out. Her outfits are always simple, but she has a style and she doesn't need something else. And she likes black, most of her red-carpets outfit are black!))

She's legendary Rachel Green. "Friends" are still the most successful seral and Aniston's character Rachel one of the main trendsetters troughout years

Jenny and Brad were a perfect couple (yes i DO NOT LIKE Jolie).

She's 40 and nevertheless she still isn't desperate. in spite of long chain of relationships and breakups. This is what happens, when you meet YOUR man and the you lose him. it is the least and last collection of Alexander Mcqueen. By the way, PPR seems to want Gareth Pigh to become new designer of this brand (tnx to i know what you wore last season). I'm actually not sure. Maybe coz i admire Gareth's work, but not really the fan of him.. i'm more in to Olivier Theysken's nominee. Anyway, we can do nothing, so time (and PPR of course) will show us the desiny of Alexander Mcqueen's brand)

Looking through his show, several parallels came to my mind immediately. Nina Ricci, Alexander Mcqueen, Missoni - all of them were mashed up amd maked over in this catwalk.

But I think, there's an excuse to him. He seems to more an artist than a designer. So I guess, his collection was kinda set of all these things which inspired them: like Style.com noticed, there were crossovers with Blade Runner, for example. So he just mash the most bright colors and the most shiny beads up and borrowed the images from the most inspiring (no doubts) catwalks from previous seasons to make the funny, ironical colorful show. Only led geaddresses and anв shiny wigs are more than enoughto make me fall in love with him!)))))

I like the way Italians do their fashion. It's beautiful and sexy and mature due to the very long history of fashion industry there. It is italian designers, who really knows what women need. Maybe sometimes they need a little bit more intelligence. But c'mon its Italy!))) fuck intellect, enjoy your life..

That's why I like last Emilio Pucci collection SO much..

As you could already noticed I've a weekness for red things.. so you could imagine HOW much this outfit struck me out..

I'm also overwhelmed with this laced embroidered catsuit..

Also I like the model's image the most among all the catwalks.. very simple dissheveled, natural make-up.. but so sexy, o gosh! The beautiest were Iris Strubbeger and Anja Rubik, Marina Linchul and Natasha Poly (I'm bias, don't I?)

D&G Fall 2011

D&G show just passed. It was all about faboulous and stylish holidays in some prestigeous ski-resort. Domenico and Stefano present us the perfect look for girl who spends in luxurious hotels and chalets or sunbathing in cosy on-the-slope cafes. When she pops up to the street she slips on warm knitwear over sheer dresses or sexy shorts and jumpsuits.. Man's image is much more realistic for skiing (they even got skipasses) and active time-spending in mountains. So girls are having fun and picking up their boyfriends and ski-trainers, while boys pretending to be very masculne and sporty. Nevertheless everyone ends up in crushing parties.

The Norvegian traditional pattern with its deers, which is activle used in this collection, turns out to to be especially relevant due to new trend on atlers (say thank you to Topshop Unique)

The perfect wardrobe for ski resort by Dolce and Gabbana: "Knitwears, knitted ski suits, handmade coats with Norwegian drawings mixed with flowered prints in chiffon, thin and thick knitted bodies. Denim, velvet and chiffon mini dresses, furs, après-ski boots and fur bags. Ski helmets and masks covered with rhinestones"

Milan Fashion Week has started!! It's my favourite one among all.. Prada, GianFranco Ferre, Dolce&Gabbana, Etro, Gucci, Versace, Miu Miu, Jil Sander, Missoni, Pucci, Max Mara, Francesco Sognamiglio, Cavalli.

In oppositу to London and New York we are likely to expect color bursts, glam and kitch, that are very in italian designer' way, but they are the only one who could perform it without vulgarity and of course flawless style and classic brand' shows... I'm pine with pending to see them all!

For last 4 days the temp is - 11..So this old photoshoot with Rubik, that i founded on FashionGoneRouge kinda my ideal pics.. I want to go with my boyfriend (i don't have one, but it's the second main goal for me) somewhere , where sea and beach and exotic fruits and bright colors and joy and youth and careless days..and all this stuff, you know)))

Its kinda strange to say that minimalism is a new trend. It's timeless. Pure colors, straight lines, simple, but elabotate cut.

again about Mcquuen's death. I'm still shocked and devastated by his suicide...

but i fread an article about it on Style.com. about his death.. I wish one day I could writeand speak in English as they do.. It it Tim Blank's article, but i mean all the journalists, who work for style.com. Their language are so beautiful -mix of exquisite high-style manner with informal language.. this is top class. Read this article, sacre one more time Alexandr's memory and admire the writing skills of Tim Blanks.

The news that Alexander McQueen has killed himself is particularly devastating because it always felt to me like he’d be the last man standing. He was restless, but so pragmatic with it I assumed he had what it took to endure the extreme situations he placed himself in. He was also an arch romantic with a pessimistic streak. It produced some of the most beautiful, shocking images in the history of fashion, but it’s a state of mind that can lead to endless disappointments. The death of McQueen’s mother last week would have validated his pessimism. It would undoubtedly have taken away his most vital support. It’s awful to imagine him trying—and failing—to cope, and one can only hope that, if he was looking for peace, he found it. For everyone left behind, there will eventually be consolation, however scant right now, in a body of work whose power will never die.

Actually I'm not the bifggest fan of Sasha. She's pretty the same in all her shoots. nevertheless, a lot of her images stand out against overwhelming majority of other sets.. I like her courage in working with photographers and stylist. And her main feature, i guess - strange surrealistic images with plenty of details. So here are 3 of her the very latest works. By the way, to say that I like the styler's work is to say nothing. Every single clothing piece and design item on the photo perfectly suits to the whole picture. The shots are awesome!

The first one is for Vogie Italia by Emma Summerton. Actually I have a special interest in italian Vogue. It's my favourite Vogue. The photoshoots in this magazine always something more than a couple of shots. It is a whole history which is told by model, photographer and stylist. Images and the whole pic made you look at it more than once and discover some new details and shades. Also editor-in-chief Franka Sozzani is my favourite among all Vogue's editors. Her style which is embodied in her magazine, her ideas and her attitude to some fashion issiues are very close to my own. Moreover, it was she who discovered Mario Testino, for example. Later I will publish a big post devoted to some of my favourite shoots.

But now here is only one of italian Vogue's stories) This story told us about succesful, attractive and popular woman. She's one of those, who is called "bohema". She lives in the world of refind delights, big money and bright emotions. But it only seems from outer view. She' lonely and bored inside. We can see her alone in her plentiful room, in beautiful clothes but she's.. unhappy. That it how it is in "Bohemian way"

I lost information about this shoot, sorry) but Sasha apperas as a tiny, fragile doll made of china. She seems to be lonely and despondent in this huge world of big things and people. In the role of doll - Sasha Pivovarova. From one side it is a new image for her, but actually this image is rather usual for her as i've mentioned in the beginning - strange, surrealistic images in some unreal scenery.. nevertheless, she's awesome in such "roles".. so enjoy))

Alexandr Mcqueen. I don't know what to say. I grieve about You. And not only me.. you were genious. I can't believe it even now... You follow after your mother. It's something that will be very hard to get over. Really, i say it sincerely. R.I.P

I want to touch upon some aspects of men's and women's fashion. A friend of mine (he's a boy) has a skirt done. Its grey, pleated, with one pocket, knee-lenght men's style skirt. He's supercool in it! And I don'tsee nothing outrageous in man, who wears skirt. But I was the only one among his friends, who supported him. Men always did wear skirts throughouth the history and all over the world. In Africa, India, Middle East it is common to see man in skirt. In Greece and Scotland even men's millitary attire inclide skirt! But in contemporary european society (USA incl.) there is weird stereotype: men in skirt = gay (at least, even if he's not gay, he is kinda strange)

But several seasons ago this trend seemed to came up, pretending to be the latest and edgy breakthrough! Even H&M Spring collection 2010 includes skirt.

C'mon guys, it's not that innovative!) Anyway, finally, we can see man skirts' more and more often on the catwalks and in street looks.

Marc Jacobs is the main trendsetter. He often wears skirts in the everyday life. And let's admite - he looks very hot! (if only he was straight) =((

But actually I want to draw your attention to the fact, that this borrowing touches not only separate items, but the whole look. If u are watching on the men's shows, u have to observed - many designers make their man image more.. more feminine. Or it will be better to say: less manly? And this is not an androgyny. It is the men and women wardrobes' confluence. See the difference? I will give a several examples to be more obvious.

At first i couldn't make up my mind about it. It was kinda strange. Bun then I realized - men do not lose their manliness. In contrary, only men who are enough self-confident can experiment with their looks. It's just about adding new perception of men's look. And I think that this is the future of men's fashion. Be more flexible, get rid of stereotypical bounds..

This season, for eaxample, it was all about waist accent.

Several designers, like Todd Lynn or Rad Hourani (by the way they both are awesome!) have always сombine their men's and women's catwalks in one show. The difference in pieces is insignificant. Is it really important from men' women's collection your stuff is? Until its stylish, nobody cares.

clogs' invasion

Remeber, in one of my first posts, i wandered - whether people will really wear clogs (from Chanel or Louis Vuitton catwalks) or it will remain only Carl's and Mark's fantasies.

Here is the answer. Women DO wear it.. actually, I'm not surprised, nevertheless I can't bear with this outrageous trend. I don't mind whether it is Celine clogs or a pair by Miu Miu, clogs are just a knock-off, the way it is.. As to my mind only real fashion-addicts follow this trens. It's not cool.

As Garance Dore recently wrote: “what we will first criticize, and then hate, and then give a second glance, and then reconsider, and then finally steal from all the stores and no one will be able to find them anywhere anymore: clogs.” According to street style photographer Hanneli Mustaparta, Zara is already stocking a knock-off. By the way we are sharing the same opinion. She also wants to have nothing to do with this trend

after i saw this Miroslava's photo (first from left) she become not just one of the fashion-darlings (even considering that she's one of a few Russian really stylish it-girls), but true fashion icon for me. This outfit is flawless.
